GRANDMOTHER TELLS TALES –  MATIC MAKES BIG DISCOVERIES

The story is about intergenerational bonding, the importance of having grandparents who use their experience to lead us subliminally to the only worthwhile values in life.

The central figure of the story Matic eagerly anticipates his grandmother’s storytelling each evening. Using the stories he learns about the rights and obligations of children and realizes one must be responsible and above all grateful for everything one has.

Adi Smolar, Slovenian songwriter and poet in the introduction of the book:

“The story focuses on an important and acute problem often dealt with parents and their children in a simplistic manner. The writer’s intent is for the story to be read and discussed over by adults and children together and simultaneously and for the readers’ individual realization of the importance of expressing love and warmth within the family and elsewhere.”
